Mental Health and Wellbeing

Description

Positive mental health and wellbeing is essential for both individuals, and society to maximise their potential. Unfortunately, mental illness is common, with research suggesting, one in five Australians will experience a mental illness at some point. Mental illness does not discriminate, as it affects people of all ages, socio-economic status, educational backgrounds, as well as cultures. Toaddress mental health issues, we need to think strategically about the challenges mental illness creates within the community and identify key factors that have the greatest influence on an individual’s mental health; particularly those affecting young people.
