Some Writings for Multimodal English
There it was, right beneath the railings, free for
anyone to view. Not that there was much to view. Thoughts on the person who
designed the interior would never come near to an answer. Perhaps it forces the
staffroom and the library together, unlike in other places, where it is clearly
differentiated. The second floor does not completely cover the first, and
instead only touches one side of the wall. The other side is the office, and
then the stairs leading down to the ground and the other side which is bright
and has windows. What a difference to what was expected. An old building
exterior, but the only ancient character it has left on the inside is the
windows. Those arch windows high up on the walls.
The morning sunlight filters through the windows, and
lands on the ever increasing books. Nothing can stop it from increasing.
Shelves get filled up more and more, but it never becomes fully filled.
An event: working in the office, learning about the
work that the employees do everyday. But there must be others. The meeting on
the first day: the employees discussing matters regarding problems to solve and
other improvements for the public to have a better experience at the libraries.
Drawings may include: the goldfish bowl office,
architecture of the libraruu.
Contrast between the two libraries. More work in the
other library. The other library has better views, and is also located next to
many community places.
